Served as editor of and writer for the 44-page spring 2024 edition of the Bulletin, a magazine about noteworthy developments and achievements at Miss Porter’s School, an independent girls’ high school in Connecticut.




 

Contributions:
  • Collaborated with the Communications lead to conceptualize the editorial themes and lineup of articles.
  • Shared input and ideas on graphic design and photography.
  • Managed the content-creation process to ensure the achievement of production milestones and deadlines.
  • Researched on individuals, topics, activities and events to produce informative, factually accurate and interesting stories.
  • Interviewed students, alumnae, faculty members, parents and others featured in articles.
  • Wrote several clear, compelling and impactful articles that aligned with Associated Press style and followed the rules of syntax, punctuation, spelling and grammar.
  • Copyedited completed articles to ensure the correct editorial tone, factual accuracy and alignment with AP style.
  • Revised copy according to feedback provided by diverse reviewers and the proofreader.
  • Reviewed designed versions of the magazine to ensure clean, error-free copy.
