Served as editor of and writer for the 52-page spring 2026 edition of the bulletin, a magazine about noteworthy developments and achievements at Miss Porter’s School, an independent girls’ high school in Connecticut.

  • Collaborated with the Communications team to conceptualize editorial themes and story lineup.
  • Managed the content-creation process to ensure the achievement of production milestones and deadlines.
  • Researched individuals, topics, activities and events to produce informative and interesting stories.
  • Interviewed students, alumnae, faculty members, parents and others to obtain information and compelling comments.
  • Wrote several articles that aligned with Associated Press style and the school’s editorial style guide.
  • Copyedited completed articles to ensure the correct editorial tone, factual accuracy and alignment with AP style.
  • Revised copy according to feedback provided by reviewers and the proofreader.
  • Shared input and ideas on graphic design and photography.
  • Reviewed designed versions of the magazine to ensure clean, error-free copy.
